So he got a TGB that has the aerodynamics of a shoe-box but honestly thought the friction losses in an unloaded spinning prop shaft would do any real difference on fuel economy? Either he was really desperate to save on fuel and actually thought it would help, or the car got some problems disengaging the FWD. What is the point of a TGB with no 4x4? Anyway, just make sure the FWD-stuff all works before buying.

You are correct this was a flatbed troop carrier and it does have a 5 speed gearbox

Jag håller på att renovera inuti min tgb13 helkaross. Och önskar fler alulister av de olika slag som sitter orginal i bilarna, som håller tak- och väggskivorna inne i bilarna. Saga er egentlig en flyttbar type som faren min kjøpte midt på 80-tallet. Jeg trur den er produsert i Finland. Den er laga til å bli dratt av en traktor (via kraftuttaket), men det er så mye jobb å plassere traktoren foran saga at faren min heller ville ha en egen motor.
