Hi All, I'm looking to create an electric bv206 as a proof of concept for a few EV companies i'm working with. When converting cars we usually remove both the engine and gearbox and drive the prop-shafts directly from the electric motor. The motor we would use is 211kW and has 450Nm torque so is more or less double what the 206 had. Could we run this direct to the drive or would we need a reduction gear? Also, in terms of top speed, is that limited by the tracks or the gearing of the original? Thanks in advance GF
