  1. Thank you for the reply, and I agree with you. If I place a vacuum gauge on the ported vacuum it should increase as I apply throttle and decrease just the same when throttle is unapplied. What is the standard vacuum at 2000 rpm? The gauge reads zero throughout the testing, however like I said above I can feel a very slight pull as the rpm increase.
  2. I am not getting much vacuum through the port on the carburetor. Other vacuum sources have over 20. (@ 4x4 solenoid) I have made sure the hole is not plugged in the carburetor and can feel a very light vacuum, but nothing that reads on the gauge. Really would like to get the vacuum advance working on my B30. Thank you...any tips...
  3. I am in the process of making all of the doors work on my C303, by removing the three bolts and separating them in half. I have found that some of the rods have become rusted into the tube. I have tried penetrating oil and heating. Still no movement. Have two rods that are stuck. Any tricks out there to make this an easier process, I've been feeding them PB Blaster for a week... Thank you very much.
  4. Thanks for all the help. We are back in business, ended up tracking it to the flasher relay. Popped the cover off and found some bad corrosion, cleaned it up and success. Yeah!
  5. UPDATE: I was able to find a set of wires that had pulled off the back of the "blackout" switch. I now have headlights, wipers, dash lights. But not turn signals or high beams. Moving the dash around I can get the turn signal indicators to light up(sometimes), but trying to active the switch does not activate the relay/flasher. Before going wire by wire, is there any input? Everything worked yesterday before puling the dash. On the back of the "blackout" switch, there is one open terminal, is the correct? Thanks again for all the help.
  6. Ok, Success !!! Trying the above, was still not getting anything from the batteries. So I figured even though they were showing 24v+, it had to be the ground. I took all the grounds off, cleaned and re-connected. Started like a champ, like normal. NOW - I have no headlights, brake lights, turn signal dash lights? Do these share a common ground that could have come loose when messing with the ignition switch? I looked at the wiring digram, looks like maybe the dash itself is grounded? Fuses are all good. Thanks...
  7. Thank you for the info, I will be heading over to the vehicle this morning.
  8. I have experienced a no start condition with my C303. Today I tried starting the vehicle with the choke on. Dash lights came on and starter engaged. I stopped to adjust the choke and nothing. No dash lights, no start, nothing. Are there any standard issues like this? I have no dash lights, dome light, nothing. Batteries are at proper voltage, power to ignition is at same voltage. Tried jumping main to accessory, nothing. Amps? Help, thank you...
  9. I have been trying to come up with a roof rack for my TGB 11. Looked all over forums, google, etc. Not much luck. If you have a custom roof rack please post a picture. Thank you.
  10. Not sure if this link is still live, might help you. http://cdn.blocket.com/static/0/images_full/45/4595830832.jpg
  11. Halfsafe, thanks for the help. I installed the coil and Pertronix, took all of 30 minutes. Just want to make sure that you hooked the red to the positive and black to the ground on the coil from the pertronix module. That still allows the resistor to work properly? I took it out for a test drive and what a difference! Thanks again.
  12. Halfsafe - Thank you, I believe I have the standard one. Where did you pickup the 3.0 ohm ballast resistor?
  13. I am told that there are two types of Bosch distributors that were placed in the TGB's. I am trying to upgrade to Pertronix and need to know which one I have. Included is a picture of the distributor with the cap off. Any help would be great!
  14. I am looking for a non-rusted out TGB 11 side door, passenger. I am located in the USA, but if willing to ship we could maybe work something out. Thank you
  15. Had a little time today. Crawled under the rig and found the 4 way connector. It was missing one of the JORD wires. Tracked it down, connected and everything is working as it should. Thank you very much, I am sure I will have more questions.
