Poptopshed Postad 19 November , 2013 Rapport Share Postad 19 November , 2013 I used a jack to lift the cabin off the bed and used scaffold poles as rollers between the bed and cabin. i then used a ratchet strap to pull the cabin along the bed. My crane was not working but you could use it to pull the cabin along the bed.
bsvensso Postad 20 November , 2013 Författare Rapport Share Postad 20 November , 2013 That's a really good idea, and cheaper Now, about those scaffold poles... Luckily my crane is working so the next thing is to figure out how to attach it to the cabin. There are lift loops on each corner of the roof, so perhaps some straps should be ok? Hopefully the side forces won't get too strong for them? I'm not quite sure if the crane is tall enough and has enough reach to be able to lift the cabin. Intuitively it feels like it should but I will sketch it out to see if it makes sense...
bsvensso Postad 20 November , 2013 Författare Rapport Share Postad 20 November , 2013 Having checked the operators manual it should be easy for the crane to lift the troop cabin. There is more then enough reach, height and strength to cope Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
spp Postad 23 November , 2013 Rapport Share Postad 23 November , 2013 Having checked the operators manual it should be easy for the crane to lift the troop cabin. There is more then enough reach, height and strength to cope Sorry, I don't think it's possible. You need a lifting device or really long cables to not bend the lift loops. Usually you are not allowed lift the loops with more than 45 degrees cable. And these are just bolted into thin sheet metal, so probably max 30 degrees. And in both cases you need to extend the crane more than maximum, and then you don't have the lifting force instead. When I bought mine, the seller lifted it with long cables and wooden spreaders. And still the loops were bent. Sorry to be pessimistic.
bsvensso Postad 23 November , 2013 Författare Rapport Share Postad 23 November , 2013 Well, I was going to use the approach from the handbook, with the plank through the whole cabin and basically lift the plank which lifts the roof, not the hoops. If the cabin can be moved close enough to the crane (which is where the scaffold poles come in) the crane can reach up more then 4 meters, which sounds like it should be enough for some decent angles straps? Even in it's most stretched position I think it still lifts 700+ kg, which should also be enough?

Wild_Devil Postad 1 December , 2013 Rapport Share Postad 1 December , 2013 Well...if you not care about the old cabin..just tie it to a tree and put in the drive gear... B-) If you want to take it of in one pice i maybe can use my enginelift with dieselengine... Depends on where you want to have the cabin standing... (Sorry for my real bad english..
