Mercedes OM606

Finally I found a complete Mercedes 210 300 TD (OM 606), I will use the motor in my TGB 11. I want to hear from you there already using this motor.

1. Are you using the original gearbox ?

2. If so, do you have the drawing of the adapter plate ?

3. which flywheel and clutch are you using ?

4. Do you use the original diesel pump from the 606 motor and run it with the ECU ?

There will certainly be  more questions when I first get started. I am looking forward to hear about yours experience.

This is the set up on my tgb 131.

 

1, not a 606 gerbox but a 6 speed gearbox from a OM111 engine, dont know what Mercedes car it came from.

Most, if not all, Mercedes gearboxes fit to the OM606.

 

2, unfortunatly not

 

3, the flywheel and clutch that were fitted to my 606 when i bought it.

 

4, i run a dieselpump from a 303 with the 6,5 mm elements from the 606 pump. Installed and tuned by dieselmeken in Aneby.
