Diff lock valves 12V

Can anyone help me with some suggestions for a nice 12V valve setup to operate the vacuum for the difflocks on a TGB1314 ? I want to buy something new so that it is reliable. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Any firm engaged in the tuning of SUVs has these valves .

Alternatively, the valve with compressed gas vehicle equipment .

You need a 3-port 2 position valve. The third port evacuates the diaphragm vacuum when the valve is deenergized.

I don't think so. This one seems to have a hole straight through making it stackable. Still an open-close valve.

 

The one you need has three ports like the schematic symbol below. Your diaphragm connects to port 1, your vacuum to port 2. When the valve opens, it connects 1 and 2. When the valve closes, it evacuates port 1.

This is a servo action valve, it means there is a very small primary valve up at the coil that sends air that moves a shuttle down in the body. This shuttle connects port 1 to port 2 or 3.

 

There is a minimum pressure needed for this to work, copied from the spec of this valve:

Pressure applied: 1.5-8.0Kgf/c㎡ / 21.3-113.8 PSI

Note the minimum pressure 1.5kg!

 

If this will work with vaccuum needs some investigation.

There appear to be some confusion on the valves specifications on ebay. Some valves claimed to be 3-port are in fact stackable 2-port valves. They have 3 ports but are designed to be stacked side by side with sealing O-rings in between (you may note the recessed O-ring seats). That idea is to have a bank of valves with just one incoming pressure port for the entire stack.

 

What you should look for is a true 3-port valve…

 

Hint: If there is a see-through hole in the side port, it's a stacked valve.

Ja, lite märkligt att det är glest mellan dom på ebay, har inte hittat någon. Har några på lager på jobbet som just har tredje porten ovanpå spolen.

 

Nä, inte för få porthål men säljarna på ebay blandar ihop portarnas funktion. Googlade några av artikelnumren på ventiler de påstår är 3/2 men det är hål rakt igenom.
