TGB13 USA

The wait is finally over! Both cars cleared customs in Brunswick GA fairly quick. There were some steps that the shippers rep. had missed but because of helpful customs officers and port workers, all was good to go yesterday. Now the fun will begin. The TGB13 is legal for me to drive on Swedish tags for 60 days while awaiting the US registration. I can tell you that it is a real head turner! Looking for every excuse to drive; "honey are you sure we don't need anything from Walmart? I'll go just in case... See you in an hour or so.....

Hello. I am a new TGB13 owner as I have one on the way over to the US from Sweden. Been a dream of mine since 1982 when I did my military service in Ostersund, Sweden. The army issued me one of these and I remember telling myself that I would like to have one of those later in life. Well it's now MUCH later in life and a move across the pond as well. Better late than never I reckon. I've always wondered what happened to my old army buddy, the TGB13 that started it all. Still remember the military reg# 138012. Anyone on the forum know about its whereabouts? The old military reg # is on the data plate on the left side of the dash. There is also a 1975 TGB11, Aluzink body one coming as well that will be for sale once the US paperwork is sorted out and its registered for the road. Regards Thomas
