    Hi I have replaced the rotor arm now which was shorting out. The sugga has been out a few times now and seems ok so I think the rotor arm must have been breaking down fingers crossed this has fixed it . I used a megger tester to check through the ignition system

    I have an electric pump fitted and have cleaned the carb several times, it will drive for several miles then starts to slow down and then it will idle but when you try to pull away it lacks any power . I have washed the fuel tank out and fitted a filter after the pump it would be nice to keep the original Rochester carb

    Hi any one know of an alternative carburettor for the sugga mine runs fine for a while then will not pull but will idle quite happily

    Has any one fitted Toyota land cruiser wheel cylinders CS285 or CS286 to a Sugga as they look very similar

    Had a look under the sugga last night and my master cylinder is connected using the upper hole ,brake pedal travel isn't to bad.

    Hi the hinge I made was for the bottom one on the drivers door I will take some measurements and try to do a drawing. I made it by turning up the round part the pin goes through, cutting 2 flat plates and notching out the gap in the middle, the outer curved part of the hinge was made using a piece of heating pipe of the correct size cut into quarters this lot was then welded together. Hope this makes cense.

    Hi Sten Thanks my sugga runs but does not charge, So far I have repaired the bottoms of the front doors and made 1 door hinge. It has the radio tray still fitted. Mick
