Well, there is no better way to learn a foreign language than through hobby/interest, and if you read enough Swedish documents & sites, all in combination with that hobby/interest, you can easily spot the most basic/essential words (and/or look them up once or twice in an (online) dictonary), enough to analyse/answer simple questions....)

 

 

 

Also, from German & Polish people taking Swedish lessons in Sweden, I learned that Dutch classmates seem to read Swedish much easier....probably because we are a small country, with more influence from other foreign languages, so recognizing words gets easier.

 

 

 

But for longer Swedish texts I would still like to have more online Swedish->English (or Swedish->German) translation sites than the two I currently have (neither one very good/comprehensible).

Yes, I know what you mean, I’m exactly the same as you. And when we are talking about computers, I’ve have learned a lot of new words…

 

Sometime I use Babel Fish Translation from Alta Vista, a excellent service but unfortunately not with Swedish translation. Click Here

 

A good service you can find here, it’s Swedish National Agency for School Improvement who have a great “virtual dictionary†in many languages. Click Here

 

I try the URL you wrote about, and I agree, the translation was unreadable… The Systran Translator costs a lot of money, why when we can fix it all for free on the net!

De goede dienst u kan hier vinden, is het Zweeds Nationaal Bureau voor de Verbetering van de School die een groot "virtueel woordenboek" in vele talen hebben. Klik hier

Ik probeer URL u ongeveer schreef, en ik ga akkoord, was de vertaling onleesbaar... De Vertaler van SYSTRAN kost heel wat geld, waarom wanneer wij het allen kunnen bevestigen kostenloos vrij op het net!

Ongeveer mijn gebeurt het citeren en wat met de HTML- tekst, misschien kan iemand van onze grote Groep Admin ons ongeveer vertellen?
