Russia (not just Siberia) is not made for roads, nor are the roads made for driving smoothly, or all-year-round....8-)) (or perhaps it's just that Russians themselves are not made for creating decent roads....8-)) You have to read lots of books of driving/expeditiion/rally in the old days, in that part of the continent, to understand that back then, a horse+carriage was the much smarter way of transport....and often it still is (which they still have in rural Russia btw, just with wider/car tires, instead of narrow/wood....) (and I guess for the same reason they also drive a lot of motorbikes with sidecar....) PS: you know that they also have the big-brother of the BV206, the Vityaz BT-30?
