    Is this still for sale?

     

    Har en tgb20 girkasse som kan brukes i tgb11 ved litt ombygg. Den har nær identisk dreving som orginale 4 girs kassene på de 4 første, men det 5 giret gir istedenfor 1-1 som orginalt 1-0.7. Dette gir 30% lavere turtall ved motorvei kjøring, men den fungerer som før i terrenget. Drevet om av en i gøteborg med planer om dieselkonvertering.

  2. is there anyone who tried to fit iveco/sofim 2.8 tdi engine?

     

    I will go this way, because I have to and it seems to be interesting alternative.

    The engine 8140 43 .... has only 4 pistons and that means is shorter than original.

    This will compensate the longer 5/6 speed gearbox. I will have to figure out if this is ok.

     

    It has 240 kg, between 106 and 128 CP and around 250-300 Nm.

    Commonrail makes it more powerfull, but also more complex due to electronics.

    I am thinking about a bigger turbocharger and some different settings of the injection pump.

     

    w = 648 mm

    l = 718 mm

    h = 844 mm

  3. I made some tests when driving downhill. It is making white smoke only when engine braking. If the brake is used and the engine is just iddling, there is no smoke.

    on the brake fluid level cannot determine any change. it is still full. perhaps to full.

     

    Any ideas?

     

    I have now a setting of the advance that makes the engine run very nice without any ignition advance noises, but it starts not so easy anymore when hot and after longer than 5-10 minutes of pause. i was told that the unleaded gasoline may be the cause for the noises before.

     

    does anyone know if that 123 ignition does make a big difference?

  4. Mine is making a lot of "bangs" when driving on very rough terrain, but it is just the leaf comming back from the side heels to the center of the shoulder. it looks still fine and centered untill  now. first a was worried but then realized what was the cause of the noise.

    what I am curious about this tgb 13 is why could be steered easier even with all differenetials locked compared with my tgb 1111 that is almost unsteerable when the front is locked.

    I will check that. Untill now did not observe such brake fluid loss.

    Isn't that supposed to happen all the time not only when nose diving? In my case appears only when descending slowly step hills for a long period.

     

    should there be any other simptomes related to the brake, because I did not feel other preoblems in my case.

     

    My brother's car lost also brake presure from time to time, but a brake cylinder is suspected to not work properly.

  6. hi guys!

     

    I have a problem with my tgb cilynder head, I suspect.

     

    When driving downhil on steep slopes for a while, the egine it start to produce white smoke, especially when engine braking.

    in the rest of the time, disregarding the speed, rpm or driving uphill there is nothing abnormal to see.

    After driving few minutes on flat terrain, the smoke disappears.

     

    did any of you had such problems?

  7. has anyone any idea about the total number of the tgb1111 alizink built and between what years?

     

    mine is built in 1975 and was first registered in 1978. for sure they got the new aluzink boldy later.

     

    iwant to register it as historic vehicle, but do not know all the production years details about this model.

  8. hi guys,

     

    I have a problem with the "bromse" light on the dash board. it stays on all the time despite manual resetting of the sensor on the distributor on the chasiss as provided by the manual.

    we tried severall times, but with no results.

     

    Do you have any idea what would be the solution?
