HELP! PTO crane scania tgb40

Hello  all

I have a problem with scania tgb40.

I have instaled a crane on tgb40 (normal -with no crane) and powered it by hydraulic pump instaled with pto of the winch.Every thing is working properly without any load on the crane.After puting a load the pto stops! 

If I take of the load it works ok.I know that best would be to power hydraulic with pto that was orignal for crane-the second one.But I dont have it and allready I made everything.

Does any one knows is there any overload clutch inside the winch pto?

It looks like it is just turning off when it get  little load.

 

Will be very greatfull for any help from you guys!

does you have the gear selector in drive? or in Bo ?

Probably your load is too much

When you run the crane in "Drive" the torque converter is active,  this means when the crane load increases, the pump will run slower and slower and maybe stop altogether.

 

When running in "Bo" the converter is locked up in the gearbox and the pump will run at constant speed as it is designed to.

Then the crane will not slow down when the load comes on.

 

The winch PTO is as good as the central PTO driving the crane pump if you do not need the winch.
