The front axle is engaged (four wheel drive is engaged). Since there is no centre differential on the L3314 this situation will occur.

I was studying geosciences at the University of Iceland in my younger days, as an exchange student. Hvis du med «mitten diff» mener midtdifferensial så har ingen av bilene i C300-serien (tgb11/13/20) det. Alle har vanlig inn- og utkoplbar drift på framakselen. Drivverket på tgb20/C306 er lik tgb13/C304 bortsett fra utvekslinga som Hasse sier, i tillegg så er differensialene i akslene på tgb20 forsterka.

Jeg hadde problem med at i motbakker prøvde bilen å kople inn framakselen på grunn av lavere vakuum i systemet. Trykktesta men fant ingen lekkasjer. Åpna til slutt vakuumklokka som styrer firehjulstrekket. Den var halvfull av olje. Etter jeg rensa den og skrudde alt sammen igjen så var alt i orden.
