valptgb Postad 31 Maj , 2012 Rapport Share Postad 31 Maj , 2012 Hi guys, i have a question and cant't find something in the www. Is there a difference by the bv206 petrol ones if an early One 81/82 Chassis number under aa0100 and One of the latest petrol ones? I think here are the bv-experts. And a Second question, it's right that the sewdish Army use the Track 20years or longer? Other Army i know max 10 years. I saw Old Tracks like New but they are porouse and get chapped. Can they rip or is Metal or cevlar inside? I hole you can help me. Best regards alex Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
Vinkon Postad 31 Maj , 2012 Rapport Share Postad 31 Maj , 2012 The only differences concerning the petrol-engines that I know of is that some of the cylinder-heads are modified (the valve-seats) in order to run on unleaded petrol. Humlegaard Postad 2 Juni , 2012 Rapport Share Postad 2 Juni , 2012 I do'nt think there is any other difference than Vinkon. The tracks of the BV that only run on snow and is parked indoor can last 20 years or more. Citera Länk till kommentar Dela på andra webbplatser
Humlan Postad 13 Juni , 2012 Rapport Share Postad 13 Juni , 2012 To make the tracks last as long as 20 years you have to be extremly cautious how you drive. A track can split but only if very worn. They are reinforced with steele "teeth" which holds the track in place and giving them stability. They are very heavy to change, but with the right amount of people and lots of strong words it usually gets into place... In the photo you see a change of track from the inside. Also, here is an advertisment for Skega/Trelleborg tracks I found today: http://www.blocket.se/sodermanland/Reservdelar_till_Hagglunds_bandvagn_206_35908833.htm?ca=12&w=3&last=1 Not particulary cheap to own a Bv206...
