  1. Ah ok, now i understand your problem... In Germany it is no problem to change the track, as long as the tires are covered ! remember that for the same track width the offset 100 mm on a 12 inch rim is about 75 mm offset with a 10 inch and for the 9 inch rim about 62mm offset The truck is not my, its one of the rare TGB in Germany. The Box is from the German Army "Zeppelin FM2" http://www.zeppelin-systeme.de/fmsheltere.htm thats my truck last summer, but still a lot of work ! my container is a radio box from the belgian army Regards Marcus
  2. Hi Johan, to know if the 9x22,5 has enough space, you don`t need the original rim. Measured from the outer side of the fender to the surface of the brake drum. This dimension you must convert to your rim... it's very difficult for me to explain it in English what i mean !! I hope you understand Regards Marcus P.S. what size of tires do you want to drive ?
  3. Hi Björn, the only thing you must do is the bolt holes in the rim sink for the inner nuts. this TGB drives with KAT1 rims on 14.00R20 Michelin XZL or you can drive the bigger 16.00R20 on the same rims (more horsepower is necessary) @ johann how wide are your rims ? 10 inch ? i think it`s no problem, but you can measur it ! Here it is explained better than I can ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offset_(wheel) Regards Marcus
  4. Hi, i use a 10V20 Rim with 120mm Offset and 14.00R20 Tyres. A Offset less than 120mm fits better ! The Company "Gabo" in the Netherlands made custom build Rims. Any Size and any diameter, according to your requirements ! Price per Rim about 400,- € http://www.velgenopmaat.nl/ Regards Marcus P.S. You can also use Rims from the German MAN KAT1 125,- € per Rim http://www.schindler-allrad.de/ware/zblnan-kat1f-1.htm

  7. Hello Forum, knows anyone the max. input torque of the GA763 ? Request at Scania Sweden was unanswered so far. I know that the TGB45 has 1187Nm... I can buy a DSC engine with a maximum torque of 1395 Nm, and i am not sure that the gearbox can handle this for a long time... thanks for help Regards Marcus

  13. Hello, the development effort seems so high for a new box, It is not possible to build a simple box with which all gears can be switched easily by hand? As with the current car, like a Tip Tronic. My main interest at the box is to have a backup system to travel, and the lower fuel consumption. Greets Marcus
